Description

The story of the “Lotus Flower” poster

This clever and unique design recreates a yogi, seated in the lotus flower pose, using only stylised lotus flowers, leaves and spiralling stalks.  As well as paying homage to this ancient and iconic yoga pose this print also celebrates the symbolism of the lotus flower.  A beloved and iconic flower in its own right that is associated with awakening and rebirth.

No mud – no lotus!  In order to blossom the lotus has to be rooted in the mud so this exquisite flower is an inspiring metaphor on healing and transformation – you too can rise up from the muddy depths to blossom and bloom. This exquisite flower also reminds you to honour your past and the muddy aspects of life from which you have or are emerging. The lotus flower symbolises hope and calls you to stay rooted on your spiritual path as you reach up to the sun.

This artwork is printed in high full colour resolution on high quality, square paper (40 x 40 cm) and is sold without the frame displayed in the product pictures. Artwork is dispatched in a durable recycled cardboard poster protection tube.

The design is also available hand screen printed on short sleeve T-shirts and tank tops.
