In the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest shamanic traditions honour the myriad of vines, plants and flowers that grow there. The indigenous population and their master healers believe that the plants speak to those with the gifts of expanded senses and perception. The plants are considered sacred and are revered for the wisdom and healing properties.

We celebrate this incredible heritage in this stunning drawing through the form of a beautiful woman, the symbol of ‘mother,’ who has been adorned with master and medicinal plants of the Amazon.

Tattooed upon her shoulder are the root and leaves of Mother of all Medicine, on her neck are the flowers and leaves of the Mapacho plant.  On her right shoulder is the pretty Chiric Sanango flower.  And in her hair are the magnificent Achiote flowers of the Bixa Orellana plant.

The artwork is printed in high resolution on high quality 220 gsm A3 paper. Note that the artwork is sold without the frame displayed in the product pictures. The poster is dispatched in a durable, recycled cardboard, poster tube.
